The Congregation Council has general oversight of the life and activities of the congregation, and in particular its worship life, to the end that everything be done in accordance with the Word of God and the faith and practice of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

The Congregation Council consists of twelve (12) adult members of the congregation, a youth member, and Pastors.
Adults are elected at the Annual Congregation Meeting in January to three (3) year terms.
The Nominating Committee selects candidates to run for election. The number of candidates presented is typically the number of positions to be filled plus a minimum of two additional candidates. Learn more:
The Youth Member is elected to a one (1) year term. The candidate for the youth position is selected by the Discipleship Ministries Committee. Only one candidate is required.
Officers and Executive Committee
The officers of this congregation are President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. The officers and the Pastors comprise the Executive Committee.
The President, Vice President, and Secretary are elected by the Congregation Council from within its membership, and are elected to one (1) year terms.
The Treasurer, if not a member of the Congregation Council, is elected by the congregation to a one (1) year term. The candidate for the position of treasurer is selected by the Finance Committee. Only one candidate is required.
Terms end in January of the year specified.
