Coordinator: Outreach and Servant Ministries Committee

Staff Liaison:
Sherry Grindeland, Fellowship Coordinator

Bridge Disability Ministries honors the God-given dignity of people living with disabilities. They build relationships among people of all abilities to alleviate isolation and enrich our churches and communities. Their ministries include an equipment ministry, a guardianship ministry, and a spiritual connections ministry.
Bridge Disability Ministries is a faith-based organization. Their services are shaped by ecumenical Christian values. They believe that relationships are transforming; and that God reaches our hearts through others.

Saint Andrew’s supports Bridge Disability Ministries through budgeted funds, hosting a Sunday Celebration Dinner, and Christmas gifts through the Love Tree program.

Current Opportunities:

Sunday Celebration Event | May 2023

Saint Andrew’s plans to host a Bridge Disability Ministries Celebration event in 2023.
This is a chance for Saint Andrew’s to welcome our Bridge Disability friends in celebration for their birthdays with some fun and games.
We need helpers at this event to serve as greeters, elevator operator, bingo helpers, and art assistants. More information will be available in Spring 2023.

To volunteer, please contact Fellowship Coordinator Sherry Grindeland, sherry@salc.church or 425-746-2529, or Marlyn Thorpe.
