Call Committee

Using information in the Ministry Site Profile (MSP), the Call Committee works with the ELCA’s Northwest Washington Synod to identify candidates to be our next Pastor, conducts interviews, and recommends a candidate to the congregation for approval.

The process includes:

  • The Call Committee reviews the Ministry Site Profile (MSP) and identifies desired candidate attributes with Congregation conversation.
  • Congregation members submit candidate nominations directly to the Synod Office.
  • The Bishop of the Synod uses the Ministry Site Profile and nominations to prayerfully identify candidates.
  • Call Committee receives names of candidates; interviews and discerns one candidate to present to Congregation.

The Call Committee is:  Marc Bateman, Bill Brueggemann, Dianne Chong, Mary Davis, Stephanie Page-Lester, Linda Powell. They welcome your continued prayers.
