The Sunday Church School ministry provides faith-learning experiences for children from age 3 through grade 5.
Classes meet on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am, in downstairs classrooms in South Hall.
We use a curriculum from Spirit and Truth Publishing Company that follows the Narrative Lectionary. Our stories and lessons are the same readings read in church and studied in Confirmation and older youth classes. These stories span Creation through the early Christian Church.
We start class by introducing the story to the children from a Bible that they know, and then proceed with related activities to help the children understand the meaning for us today.
