All women are welcome to Saint Andrew's Women's Book Club!

Spring Book discussions begin again on April 15 on Wednesdays, starting promptly at 10:00 am and ending on time at 11:30 am in the Church Library.   We have selected Surprised by Joy for our next book to read and discuss.  C.S. Lewis wrote this memoir to share his early life and his spiritual journey as he recounts his conversion from atheism to Christianity.

  1. S. Lewis, the great British writer, scholar, lay theologian, broadcaster, Christian apologist, and bestselling author of Mere Christianity, The Screwtape Letters, The Great Divorce, The Chronicles of Narnia, and many other beloved classics takes readers on a spiritual journey through his early life and eventual embrace of the Christian faith. Lewis begins with his childhood in Belfast, surveys his boarding school years and his youthful atheism in England, reflects on his experience in World War I, and ends at Oxford, where he became "the most dejected and reluctant convert in all England." As he recounts his lifelong search for joy, Lewis demonstrates its role in guiding him to find God. (Amazon)

Join us as we discover new insights about Christianity, British life, the search for joy, and ourselves.  We meet together in person and on Zoom to share, learn, pray, encourage each other, and to laugh.  Join us for our Spring Book Group at Saint Andrew’s.  Contact Cheryl Jurrus for more information and the reading/discussion schedule for April 15th to May 20th.
