Discipleship is education and action. It is for youth and adults.
Discipleship is about creating followers of Jesus. One part of discipleship is learning a specific set of information and completing certain tasks, but it’s not defined by those actions. Discipleship is more holistic. It’s not age specific. It’s concerned not just about knowing but is more focused on embodying. It connects the head and the heart. It’s about being reunited with Jesus.

Sunday Discipleship Hour classes meet at 9:00 am.
Check the Sunday bulletin for updates and locations.
There are education opportunities on Sundays and during the week. There are offerings for men, for women, and for everyone.
Adults are invited to teach, mentor, and volunteer with youth discipleship also!
Youth discipleship has two components.
“For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.” Romans 6:5

Pastor Lara Forbes began her ministry at Saint Andrew’s on February 18, 2020.
Personal Ministry Statement: As a Christian I am called to love God and my neighbor. As I live this out as a pastor, I have come to understand that no congregation exists solely for itself. Rather, it’s an integral part of its surrounding community and the relationship between church and community is living, breathing, and dynamic.
Before coming to Saint Andrew’s, Pastor Lara served at Faith Lutheran Church in Phoenix, Arizona for ten years. She is originally from Washington State.

Hello! I am excited to share my love and passion for church and ministry with the youth and family of Saint Andrew’s. I grew up in California, where church was a big part of my life.
