Worship and Weather
Happy New Year!
With the lingering snow, we wanted to share an update about worship and weather.
Worship on January 2
Worship on January 2, 2022, will be held in-person and livestreamed, at 10:00 am.
If attending in-person, note that SE 28th Street has compact snow/ice on the road, and the church parking lot is not plowed. Snow and/or sloppy slush will probably be present.
Take extra care when walking in the parking lot and on the walkways near the church.
The walkway to the west door (by the small parking lot) has been quite slippery this past week.
Safety is paramount. You are encouraged to stay home if that feels like a safer option (whether it be due to snow/ice or uncertainty about the omicron covid variant.)
Tomorrow’s worship begins with special prelude music with violinist Timothy Tan and pianist Elaine Koga. They will begin playing about 7-8 minutes before 10:00 am.
The livestream will begin early so that viewers can enjoy the entire piece.
Updated Information due to Weather
When the weather is “iffy”, you may wonder about church events/activities. Two resources are:
The Saint Andrew’s “Weather Updates” webpage. Changes in church schedules that are due to weather will be noted there.
The church online calendar also has up-to-date information.
