Sundays, September 12 - November 21, 2021 | 8:00 am
Facilitators: Jean Wahlstrom and Marvin KananenThe Gospel According to Mark
If people were to ask us (Jean and Marvin) which of the gospels to read if they were only going to read one, we’d both say read THE GOSPEL OF MARK. It is the shortest, it was the first one written, and the writers of Matthew and Luke also were familiar with it.
Starting September 12, Jean Wahlstrom and Marvin Kananen will be teaching this remarkable book at their 8:00 am Sunday morning class. MARK has been the source of our texts for worship last year, studying portions of it. Now we’d like to take an overview and look at the whole book, seeing these portions in context.
We are casual, you are free to attend at your convenience, and bring questions and thoughts or say nothing. Welcome.
You can attend this study in-person or via Zoom. In order to plan for safe in-person distancing, we are asking you to indicate whether you normally plan to attend in-person or via Zoom.
