Health and Wholeness Ministry assembles Personal Care Kits for Lutheran World Relief (LWR).

These kits are distributed by LWR around the world, providing hygiene, dignity and hope to those in crisis situations. The kits are sent to areas of the world where an emergency has occurred, and people are left with very little.  The kits supply basic items for survival.

We are collecting items to be put into a Fall shipment of Personal Care Kits. You can help us fill these kits by donating the items listed below:

• Bath towels (lightweight, dark colored, size: 20″ x 40″ to 27″ x 52″)
• Large sturdy combs (sturdy, no picks or fine tooth combs)
• Metal nail clippers (large or small, attached nail file optional)
• Bars of soap (4-5 ounces in original packaging)
• Adult-sized toothbrushes (in original packaging; can be multi-packs)

Please place donations in the box near the elevator in the Narthex.

Kits will be assembled and sent to LWR at the end of October 2024.
