Presenter: Dr. Joseph LiReverend Joseph ‘Joe’ Li (Th.D.), currently serving in the Northwest Washington Synod’s ministry with Chinese post-graduate students at the University of Washington, will be helping us to understand our Asian neighbors and the challenges they are facing with discrimination. Perhaps you’ve seen the signs in the neighborhood around the church which say, “Hate has no home here” in 7 different Asian languages. Many of you have expressed interest in hearing more about issues of “inclusivity and diversity” in our neighborhood. Once an immigrant Chinese student himself, he can speak from experience as well as from a studied perspective.
