Saturday, September 7 | 11:00 am – 3:00 pm | St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, Renton
In collaboration with Lutheran Churches of the Northwest Washington Synod, Liberating Love with Deacon Ross Murray is the first of a three-month series aimed at fostering deeper connections and understanding within our community here in the Puget Sound Area and beyond.
Keynote and Workshops: Join Deacon Ross Murray on September 7 at St. Matthew’s in Renton in an exploration of the Liberating Love that God provides for us and calls us to provide for each other. Using scripture, ministry best practices, and a realistic look at the current landscape, we’ll talk about how to go beyond “welcoming” to providing a word of liberation to those who need to hear it in our day and age.
The registration cost of $35 includes a ticket to Saturday’s keynote address and workshops led by Deacon Ross, worship, and lunch. Check-in opens at 10:30 am for coffee, muffins, and casual conversation with Deacon Ross. All registrants will be entered into an exciting giveaway.
Worship: In addition, to Saturday’s event, all are welcome to Worship at St. Matthew’s on Sunday, September 8, at 10:00 am with Deacon Ross as the guest preacher. Following Worship, there will be an End of Summer Bash with music, lunch, fellowship, inflatable fun, and face painting for the entire community.
This event is open to everyone in the Puget Sound Area—you don’t need to belong to a church to attend—ALL ARE WELCOME!
Participants are welcome to join in one or all activities, but registration is required for the Saturday event.
