The Finance Committee reviews each month’s financial report and the annual budget, monitors the accounting activity and financial condition of the church, and reports monthly to the Congregation Council recommending any necessary actions.
The committee prepares a proposed Current Fund budget each year for approval by the congregation.
The committee informs and updates the congregation monthly on the status of the congregation’s finances.
The committee reviews the financial policies of Saint Andrew’s Lutheran Church to ensure that policies are current and complete.
The committee is responsible for selecting a candidate for the position of Treasurer.
The committee supports the Congregation Council, Committees and Staff when requested, for recommendations regarding proposed expenditures and other fiscal matters of the congregation.
