Northwest Washington Synod

LiVE Project

LiVE (rhymes with “give”) is an acronym for “Living into Vocational Engagement.”
LiVE is a ministry of the Northwest Washington Synod, ELCA and offers education opportunities for lay people, with the goal of forming Christian leaders able to make sense of our place in God’s world. These opportunities are more in-depth than we as an individual congregation can offer.

LiVE is a hybrid-style learning community, including: in-person retreats, courses and cohorts via zoom, and opportunities for a-synchronous engagement via our online learning platform. LiVE is Theological Thoughtful, Culturally Responsive, and Communally Engaged.

Saint Andrew’s has purchased a congregation “bundle” for 2024-2025, meaning that anyone from the congregation can attend any LiVE offering for no cost. A “promo code” is needed when registering; contact the church office, info@salc.church or 425-746-2529, to get the code. Then, when registering for any LiVE retreat or course, enter the promo code on the registration page and the total cost will become $0.
