    Mark your calendars: Bells of the Sound will return to Saint Andrew’s on December 15, 2024 for a handbell concert filled with holiday music!

    Bells of the Sound is not your typical handbell choir.  Under the direction of Shirley Lindberg, this talented group of musicians is a dynamic force in the handbell world – encouraging composers to create new works and advancing this exciting instrument into the mainstream of entertainment.  They perform on over 7 octaves of Malmark handbells, 5 octaves Malmark Choirchimes, 2 octaves of Schulmerich Silver Melody Bells, and 4+ octaves of Petit and Fritsen handbells – over 200 pieces of equipment and one of the largest sets in the country.  Bells of the Soundwill give you a whole new perspective of handbells that you won’t want to miss!

    Concert repertoire includes: The First Noel (arr. Cathy Moklebust), A Night at the Manger (Matthew Compton), It's the most Wonderful Time of the Year (arr. Joel Raney), Prelude and Fugue on Noel Nouvelet (arr. Fred Gramann), See Amid the Winter's Snow (arr. Brian Childers), A Nativity Celebration (arr. William Gross), Ave Maria (arr. Cathy Moklebust), The Snow Lay on the Ground (arr. Alex Guebert), God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen (arr. Benjamin Tucker), Wonderful Christmastime (arr. Ron Mallory), and Wizards in Winter (arr.
