Congregation Liaison: Outreach and Servant Ministries Committee

Congregations for Kids helps students from low income families in the Bellevue School District get a good start back to school by through donations of new backpacks and school supplies. This helps students begin school with some of tools needed to be successful.

Each summer, the congregation supports this effort.

Join us to prep new backpacks for Congregations for Kids on Wednesday, August 7.
Congregations for Kids provides backpacks filled with supplies for needy students in the Bellevue School District.
Our shift begins at 11:00 am at an elementary school near the church.

Space is limited so RSVP to Fellowship Coordinator Sherry Grindeland, at sherry@salc.church or 425-746-2529.

Congregations for Kids saves money by purchasing the backpacks and supplies in bulk.
To help, please write a check to Saint Andrew’s and put “Congregations for Kids” on the memo line.
