The mission of Outreach and Servant Ministries: "Out of the center, we live our faith and celebrate it through intentional caring service while growing in Christ."
We are a servant congregation centered in Christ where everyone has the opportunity, and is encouraged, to serve both local and global communities.
We are Christ's servants and are called and set apart to:
With compassion we reach out to our community and world in ways that seek to meet the basic material and spiritual needs of God’s people. We embrace the opportunity to share the abundant blessings of our congregation in ways that touch the lives of those in need and show Christ’s love through us for his people.
In 2011, the Outreach and Servant Ministries Committee spent several months defining the Core Outreach Ministries of Saint Andrew’s. These are the specific areas of ministry which congregation members are most involved in with our various resources, including our time, our expertise, and our financial resources.
The Core Outreach Ministries of Saint Andrew’s are:
“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” 1 John 3:18 (NIV)

Pastor Lara Forbes began her ministry at Saint Andrew’s on February 18, 2020.
Personal Ministry Statement: As a Christian I am called to love God and my neighbor. As I live this out as a pastor, I have come to understand that no congregation exists solely for itself. Rather, it’s an integral part of its surrounding community and the relationship between church and community is living, breathing, and dynamic.
Before coming to Saint Andrew’s, Pastor Lara served at Faith Lutheran Church in Phoenix, Arizona for ten years. She is originally from Washington State.

Sherry Grindeland has served as our Fellowship Coordinator since 2016.
I am a longtime member of Saint Andrew’s, and consider the church a second home. I have been a regular usher, and have enjoyed going on youth mission trips and teaching Vacation Bible School in the past.
