  • Lent, Holy Week, and Easter Worship

    Ash Wednesday to Easter 2023

Lent is often considered to be a season of journeying – a time when we intentionally focus on our relationship with God and end up someplace different than where we started. As we do this, we discover that God is the one who journeys, and we follow. The Sunday readings emphasize remembering who we are and also who God is, and show us the ways this keeps us grounded in our faith. They remind us, too, that where we go with God is filled with peace, good news, and love.

    Blue Christmas Worship Service

Date and time to be determined

What is a Blue Christmas worship service?
The holidays are often referred to as being “the most wonderful time of the year” and, indeed, there are many reasons to be festive and celebratory. For many people, though, this time of year is anything but wonderful and is, instead, filled with depression, sadness, and grief.
A Blue Christmas worship service is a contemplative time of prayer and music that gives voice to these feelings and assures us that we are not alone in them. More importantly, it offers us the promise that God is with us in this time and that there is reason to hope.
