Sunday Morning Bible Study ~ 2 PETER

Sundays, August 2, August 9, August 16, August 23 | 8:15 am | via Zoom

Led by Jean Wahlstrom and Marvin Kananen

A four-week study of the SECOND Letter of Peter.

The letter of 2 Peter attempts to answer the question: How Then Shall We Live? if God has done it all and given us all we need for this life. It says we should “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.” (2 Peter 3:18). Come, join us as we search the scriptures to find out what this means: how do we grow in grace. Marvin considers 2 Peter a turning point in his life..

The one-hour class begins at 8:15 am. each of the four Sundays.

Book Study ~ How to Be an Antiracist

Wednesdays, beginning July 22 | 7:00 pm | via Zoom

Led by Manda Schoen

Join in an effort to grow together in learning how we can better love and serve all people by reading How to be an Antiracist by Ibram X Kendi.
Existing small groups are invited to read and discuss within their current framework and this new group, led by Manda Schoen, will begin meeting on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm starting July 22.

We will be following the guidelines for respectful communication as we expect this important topic will be often challenging and uncomfortable. The goal is to have the book completed by the end of September, then come together as a large group to discuss what we have learned and what meaningful changes we can make as a congregation.

Sanctuary Prayer

We have missed being together here at Saint Andrew’s. While we can’t yet hold traditional in-person worship services, your household can now come to the Sanctuary for individual prayer.
Keeping our congregation healthy and safe is our paramount concern in this re-opening period, so we are asking everyone to sign up to come to pray.
This will limit numbers and maintain physical distancing.

You will be sent more details and instructions for accessing the building after signing up.

Contact Fellowship Coordinator Sherry Grindeland,, or Communications Specialist Susan Hegedus,, with questions.

The Sanctuary is available 7:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday through Friday, and 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday.

Signing up 24 hours in advance is required.

I/We plan to come to the Sanctuary to pray:
