The Narrative Lectionary (NL) is a four-year cycle for the readings during Sunday worship. From September through May, the readings follow the biblical story from Creation through the early Christian church, showing the breadth and variety of voices within scripture. It offers a much broader overview of the biblical stories than what are typically experienced on a Sunday morning, including stories that are often omitted. Beginning in September, we will use the NL for our Sunday readings during worship. At this Forum, find out more about how these readings will be used in worship and youth education.
